What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I knew I wanted to stay in Maryland for university to stay near my family. After doing some research about my options, I was able to learn more about the engineering program at UMD. I read about all the undergraduate research opportunities, classes, career fairs, and so much more and the more I learned the more I realized it would be the best fit for me.

Best Experience with a Class or Project
Building the robot for the ENES100 class during my freshman year was probably my best experience with a class at UMD. Working with my group on the robot and watching it finally work at the end of the semester was a very accomplishing feeling and it cemented my love for engineering.

Favorite Class In Major
CHEM231: Organic Chemistry I

Favorite Class Out of Major
CHBE101: Introduction to Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Student Organizations/Extracurricular Activities
I am in Engineers Without Borders and in Theta Tau in terms of engineering organizations and extracurriculars. As for my non-engineering extracurriculars, I am in Debate club and in Crochet for a Cause club as well.

Favorite On-Campus Event
I personally love Maryland Day. It's a great way to learn more about the university and just a great time overall.

Favorite Research or Study Abroad Experiences
I have not yet done any research or study abroad. But I would love to do a winter, spring, or summer study abroad program hopefully.

Cool Engineering Experience
The coolest engineering experience to have is bonding with your engineering friends over the classes. It's so wonderful to be able to help my peers and also to be helped by them. Engineering can get difficult to having that bond will always be so great.
