Networks Engineering & Operations Group is singularly responsible for the receipt, uplink, delivery and distribution of all networks wholly or partially owned by FOX, Inc. NE&O is a 24/7 mission critical operation which supports business units in seven distinct locations – three (3) in Los Angeles, California (Pico, Playa del Rey and 1440 Sepulveda); one (1) in The Woodlands, TX; one (1) in San Francisco, CA; one in Charlotte, NC; and one (1) in New York, NY. Overall, NE&O has over 1000 full-time equivalent employees.
NE&O Digital provides centralized technology services to all of the FOX networks including FOX Sports, FOX Broadcasting, FX Networks, Big 10 Network, and the National Geographic Channels. This includes application development for mobile & connected devices, ad delivery, digital analytics, video delivery and workflow management, quality assurance, and project management. They oversee the support and maintenance of ‘TV Everywhere’ and video infrastructure for products such as FOXNOW, FXNOW, NatGeoTV, BTN2Go, and FoxSportsGo. The team has launched ‘TV Everywhere’ apps on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Samsung, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 8.
